DMX to Cat5 Cable Converter
This handy adaptor allows standard Cat5 or higher rated UTP cable to be used in DMX lighting applications.
Since Cat5 cable spec is very close to that of DMX cable, it is fully suitable for use.
While not shielded, the twisted pair construction of Cat5 cable provides sufficient immunity to outside interference. Simply use one XLR to DMX adaptor at each end of the cable.
